About Us

MarleneOulton.com is the brainchild (and joy!) of Marlene Oulton, communicator ad infinitum.

She began her love affair with the written word at approximately the age of 4, from having her favorite Auntie read her bedtime stories in her rural homestead, and to this day, this melding of the mind and heart with words still continues.

Her attention to minute details and her desire to create clear, concise and captivating prose for her clients is what motivates her to get out of bed each morning, stare for hours at her computer monitor, and wear out 3 keyboards a year from the continual pounding of her fingertips. (Her local computer accessory store adores her!)

Some people get ‘high’ on caffeine, sugar, alcohol and other unmentionable substances. Marlene gets hers naturally when she sees an email in her Inbox saying “Thanks for the super job!” in the subject line.

She resides in Moncton, New Brunswick, on the east coast of Canada with her very significant other (who shall remain nameless to protect his identity, poor man) and fur child Angel, their White West Highland Terrier (or terror, depending on the dog’s mood on any given day).
